Kids’ course develops confidence, self-esteem

GRACE School of Deportment and Grooming is holding another Summer School Holiday Program open to children and teenagers 5-18 years.

Elizabeth Lund, the founder of Grace School, said the course focused on confidence and self-esteem.

It is designed to bring youngsters out of their shells and into their own while teaching them deportment, grooming and manners.

She said the course also focused on "the beauty within each child", and that Grace School was a place of "growth, not perfection."

For this workshop Mrs Lund has decided to give away two places in the course, valued at $300 each, to two people who may really need a self-esteem boost.

Local girls and boys can send an email to Elizabeth to tell her why they would like to win a place at next week's course - but get in quick, because entries must be received by this afternoon.

The course runs from Monday until Thursday, 9.30am-3pm daily at Goonellabah Sports and Aquatic Centre.
