Northern Rivers students win a swag of swim medals in Sydney

A GROUP of kids from Lismore Workers, Trinity Lismore, Woodenbong and Alstonville swimming clubs have brought home a heavy haul of medals.

Swimmers from across New South Wales converged on Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre on September 27 for the Swimming New South Wales Development Squad Meet.

Numerous personal bests were smashed by the 91 Northern Rivers kids in attendance.

Additionally, 13 of the swimmers won 26 individual medals, plus one relay medal.

There were 49 top 10 placings, as well as three relay top 10s.

The swimming clubs thanked Helen Green for her assistance in organising the trip.
