Kenyan kids to receive school shoes
MOTHER of two Sadie Hunt is currently in Africa and hopes to give orphans 200 pairs of shoes as Christmas presents tomorrow.
Ms Hunt is volunteering at the Mission in Action Orphanage and School in North West Kenya.
Before leaving she asked the school what it was they really needed and the response was school shoes.
"Fundraising is going very well and if we manage to raise more than we need we will sponsor some children as well," Ms Hunt said.
"It will be quite a sight seeing all those children queuing up for shoes."
It is not too late to buy a pair of shoes for the children at the school, each pair costs $5.
The shoes will be purchased in Kenya from a town close by.
