Kay the latest greyhound trainer to face court

LEGENDARY greyhound trainer Reg Kay is the latest person to be brought up on animal cruelty charges in the wake of the live-baiting scandal.

The 73-year-old faced Ipswich Magistrates Court this week for two counts of serious animal cruelty.

The Churchable man stood accused of using a live pig and a chicken to bait greyhounds.

The matter was adjourned for a committal mention on July 1 - the same day fellow disgraced trainers Tom Noble, 68, James Harding, 25, Tony McCabe, 41 and Julie Elizabeth Edmondson, 63, are due to reappear in court for similar charges.
