John’s hole-in-one a highlight in Lismore aggregate stableford
DAVID Townend, David Harris, Jason Durheim and Peter Michael were celebrating after teaming up to take the honours at Lismore Workers Golf Club's latest competition.
The quartet sealed a win in the four-man aggregate stableford on Saturday.
Some good all-round golf at the Barham Street club sealed first place in the event, which saw all players' scores contribute to their team's performance.

It was a memorable day for John Reading, who hit a hole-in-one on the 130m second.
"I think that is his second one ever, so he was tickled pink," Lismore club professional Peter Jaeger said.
"He had a big grin on his face for the rest of the day - and no-one could blame him.
"There was some good golf played across the day. It was a good event."
Preparations are now continuing for one of the club's biggest events of the year next Saturday.
More than 200 players are expected for the four-person Ambrose.
Friends of members are invited to take part.
