'Kid in a candy store': Jodie's reaction to celebrity letter
UPDATE Friday: JODIE McRae's daughter, Kaela, said her mum "was literally like a kid in a candy store" when she received a handwritten letter from Angelina Jolie.
Jodie's Inspiration chairman, Jesse Smith, said Ms McRae wrote to the celebrity thanking her for "saving her life", but she never expected to get a reply.
"Jodie maintains that, without watching Angelina's story, she would not have checked herself and would not have found the lump," Mr Smith said.
At the time Ms McRae posted on social media that she was "so excited to just get a handwritten letter".
"I wrote to her to thank her for her bravery in sharing her story on having a voluntary double mastectomy," Ms McRae had posted.
"Her openness is what probably saved my life.
"Another reminder girls, awareness and checking regularly saves lives!"

In 2014 she received a hand-written letter from actress and humanitarian Angelina Jolie, whose decision to have a double mastectomy marked the start of Ms McRae's own cancer battle.
The letter read:
"Thank you for your beautiful letter. I am so happy you are doing well and now speaking out to help others.
"We are sisters in this fight. Stay strong, I send all my love to you, Kaela and Jake."
It is now 50 days until Pink Halloween.
