Joanna finds curly way to support charity

JOANNE Taufa is a volunteer with the Platypus RSL Day Club and has offered to have her head shaved in support of the Leukaemia Foundation.

On Tuesday, March 29 at 11am at the Casino Community Centre, Karla from Shear Illusions will cut Joanne’s curly locks in front of the members of the club who have already donated to the cause.

Donations can be made by visiting the World’s Greatest Shave website.

All money raised will support people with leukaemia, myeloma and lymphoma, providing free home-away-from home accommodation near hospital during their treatment, transport to appointments, along with practical and emotional support during their illness.

Today, 34 Australians will be given the devastating news that they have leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma, and they’ll turn to the Leukaemia Foundation for help.

Get involved and support Joanne.
