Jimmy’s working ‘day and night’ on miniature artworks
POPULAR Northern Rivers artist Jimmy Willing says he's working "day and night" to make sure his new exhibition is ready for its official opening on Friday night.
Called A Pocket Full Of Jimmy Willing, it is an exhibition of small and miniature works, mostly in oil.
"The works may be small and minute but I have given them the time, care and diligence that I spend on my large canvases in an effort to make each one a masterpiece," Willing said.
"The show has several very divergent themes including The French Revolution, Napoleon Bonaparte, Bees & Beetles, Second World War Iconography. and even a couple about local legend Hector The Crocodile."
A Pocket Full Of Jimmy Willing will be opened by Lismore Mayor Jenny Dowell at The Audio Room, corner of Magellan and Carrington Sts, Lismore, at 6pm on Friday.
