Jarjum U15s without loss

THE Bundjalung nation and people of Casino and its surrounding areas had plenty to cheer about when the

Under-15 Jarjum netball team went through undefeated at the Koori State Championships in Newcastle.

The girls played with true grit and determination in a busy few days of competition.

Jarjum means kids in the Bundjalung language and the team that consisted mainly of 13 and 14-year-olds had enough muster to beat

Bundjalarms 13-6 in the grand final.

They played nine games in total and were coached by Melissa Williams with Maria Anderson the manager.

The team included the following players:

Krystle Schultz, Sarah Hoffman, Meg Talbot, Lakiesha Williams, Tialah McGrady, Naomi Kapeen, Shanaye Waters, Zoe Williams, Emma Gordon and Lavina Robinson.
