It's time to set up a touch footy comp in Casino
STEVE SUN has been involved in the sport of touch football for 25 years.
Sun played at park and representative levels in Sydney and on the Central Coast. He referees for Lismore touch football teams.
He has lived in Casino for 12 years and now is the time to start a Casino touch footy competition, he said.
"Casino needs this for the exposure and talent at the junior and senior level,” Sun said.
"I have the right contacts to develop and promote the skills,” he said.
Sun seeks expressions of interest for a 2017 season in getting the competition up and running, he said.
People are required for the positions of executive committee, president, treasurer, secretary, referees director, referees, canteen co-ordinator, general committee and representative committee.
"Anyone can stand for various positions and assistance will be given to anyone unsure of roles or responsibilities which isn't hard but rewarding,” Sun said.
"A date and venue will be set for an information night for everyone to attend to get this fun and friendly competition up and running,” he said.
On the information night, he will be seeking a name and appropriate mascot for the Casino Touch Football Association.
