It's a really big morning tea

WHEN Northern Rivers businesswomen Tash Guthrie (Wicked Waiters), Deb Marks (Deborah Marks Weddings & Occasions), and Jo Kilburn (marriage celebrant) host big morning tea, they put the emphasis on "big".

The women will host a Cancer Council fundraiser at Lismore's LaVida Bar and Restaurant on Thursday, May 24, from 10am to noon, and are combining their skills to make an epic event.

Ms Guthrie's buff staff will wait on guests enjoying a modern twist on the traditional "kitchen tea celebration" for brides-to-be, courtesy of Ms Marks, while enjoying music by Luke Vassella.

Celebrity chef Belinda Jeffrey will MC the event and Lismore Mayor and breast cancer survivor Jenny Dowell will be guest speaker.

The morning tea will also include games, raffles, giveaways, and a lolly buffet.

Tickets are $15. Go to their Facebook page www.facebook.com/LismoresBiggestMorningTea for more information or to RSVP.
