It's a stinker!

PREPARE your fans, inflatable swimming pools, ice-cold refreshments, thongs and singlets, or plan for a week on the beach.

Next week is going to be sweltering, weather experts believe.

Both Weatherzone and The Weather Channel are predicting identical temperatures over the next few days, with tomorrow to hit 32 degrees Celsius, Friday and Saturday tottering to 33, with Sunday to hit a scorching 35 degrees.

Monday the temperature is set to inch back to 31, with Tuesday hitting 32, before Wednesday retreats slightly to a warm 28 degrees.

Weatherzone have predicted the UV index at 'Extreme' from today until Monday inclusive, so make sure you protect yourself from the sun.

Thunderstorms are plausible during the next week, with Saturday and Sunday meant to bring hot northerly winds at speeds of up to 25km/h.
