Issues revealed about those that post lots of selfies

SELFIES, narcissism and psychopathy go hand-in-hand, according to a US university study.

Research undertaken by the Ohio State University suggests selfies can say a lot about a person's personality.

The researchers asked about 800 US men, aged between 18 and 40, to complete an online questionnaire asking about their photo posting habits on social media.

The survey included questions about how often they posted photos of themselves on social media, and about whether and how they edited photos before posting.

The participants were also asked to complete standard questionnaires measuring anti-social behaviours and self-objectification.

The researchers found that men who posted more photos were more likely to suffer from both narcissism and psychopathy.
