Interrelate boost library resources

LISMORE’S Interrelate family relationship centre is joining with the Lismore City Library to boost the library’s parent education section.

The contribution, which is being funded through the YWCA Communities for Children Initiative, includes education programs for parents in Lismore.

One of the features of the initiative will include a Step Family Celebration Day on Sunday, June 5.

The free day will be held at the Lismore Public School, at Pound Street, from 10am to 3pm and will include a mix of family activities, panel discussions, talks, information and resources for families.

“We are excited to be working in partnership with library and will be contributing  resources to better assist families in our region,” Lismore Interrelate manager Julie Leete said.
