Inspiring moon rise captured in real time over Byron Bay

LUKE Taylor sent us this beautifully shot moonrise in real time over Byron Bay lighthouse.

It's not the first time it's been attempted, but it is always an awesome and inspiring view.

"After a few cloudy nights, the sky cleared this evening to reveal the moonrise silhouetted behind Cape Byron Lighthouse, Byron Bay, Australia," Luke wrote on his Vimeo clip.

"It was a slightly hazy evening and this time I had no stabilizing tripod to help me with camera shake and the slight breeze moving my camera and lens.

"After many hours playing with this clip I managed to get it to the best of my ability, so you might notice a bit of wobble at the beginning.

Luke said he captured the video at Belongil Beach, Byron Bay in real time.

For the photographers he used a Canon 7D, Canon 600mm F/4L IS ii lens and a Canon 1.4 extender, giving him a focal length of 840mm.

The music soundtrack was provided by Lee Rosevere and the track was called In a Moment.
