Injured woman rescued from bottom of Minyon Falls

EMERGENCY services rescued an injured woman from Minyon Grass yesterday evening.  

Lismore SES along with police rescue, ambulance and VRA, were tasked to Minyon Grass by Police to assist in retrieving a woman who had sustained leg injuries around the bottom of the falls.

The patient was stabilised at the scene by ambulance and determined unsafe to be winched out by helicopter, Lismore SES said on their Facebook page. 

The woman was carried by stretcher back up to a waiting ambulance.
