IKEA chair recalled over 'entrapments'
IKEA has recalled its outdoor beach chair with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission issuing a press release warning purchasers the chair could trap their body parts - if put together wrong.
"The chair may be assembled incorrectly, leading to risks of falls or finger entrapments," a product recall from the ACCC read.
"IKEA has received five incident reports globally in which (the) Mysingso beach chair collapsed during use due to incorrect assembly.
"All five reports included injuries to fingers and required medical attention."
Anyone who purchased the beach chair before February 2017 is encouraged to return it.
