How to buy Splendour tickets tomorrow

TICKETS to Splendour in the Grass 2016 go for sale at 9am on Thursday, April 21.

If you don't want to miss out on tickets, this is what you need:

  • A moshtix acount previously set up
  • Correct name and date of birth of each ticketholder
  • Correct email address and mobile number of each ticket holder

Tickets will be purchased through moshtix.com.au or 1300 GET TIX (438 849).

You will be able yo buy tickets for up to four people.

The pricing for this year's event is:

Event Tickets:

  • 3-Day (Friday to Sunday, also includes Thursday access) = $375 + $7 booking fee per ticket
  • Single Day (Friday or Saturday or Sunday) = $159 + $6 booking fee per ticket

Camping Tickets:

  • 5 Nights (Wednesday to Monday) = $120 per person + $5 booking fee per ticket

Those intending to camp onsite will need to purchase an Event Ticket as well as a separate Camping Ticket.

The Camping Ticket does not gain entry to the festival and the Event Ticket does not gain entry to the campgrounds.

Anyone wanting to book pre-erected tents through Tent City Hire, Tepeelove (formerly Tepee Life), Flash Camp or Byron Bay Camping Hire must have purchased a Camping Ticket first.

Tent City/Tepeelove/Flash Camp/Byron Bay Camping Hire bookings do not include a Camping ticket.

Camping Ticket - Family Campground:

  • 5 Nights (Wednesday to Monday) = $120 per person + $5 booking fee per ticket

A Camping Ticket that provides access for each ticket holder to The Meadow, a family-friendly camping area located within the general campgrounds.

Children aged 11 and under are admitted free, and must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian at all times whilst at the festival or campgrounds.

A Camping Ticket - Family Campground are one ticket per person and those intending to camp onsite will need to purchase an Event Ticket as well as a separate Camping Ticket. The Camping Ticket does not gain entry to the festival and the Event Ticket does not gain entry to the campgrounds.

Payment Methods + Fees and Charges:

  • Payment can be made by PayPal, Mastercard and Visa only.
  • All prices include GST.
  • All prices are stated and transactions processed in AUD.
  • A 2.1% transaction fee applies to all orders
  • Moshtix phone bookings add $2 fee per transaction.

Vehicle Passes

All vehicles parking at North Byron Parklands for Splendour in the Grass 2016 are required to have the appropriate pre-purchased vehicle pass from moshtix. On sale from Monday 30 May.

Further information on the cost and type of vehicle passes available will be provided in the coming weeks.

Ticket Resale Facility

Ticket resale or reissue services may be offered via moshtix, but the final decision on whether such services will be provided is at the discretion of Splendour In the Grass.

You can only purchase legitimate Splendour tickets via our official ticketing provider, moshtix. Do not buy tickets from unauthorised sellers or online auction and sale sites - the ticket holder cannot change the name and date of birth details on tickets, no matter what they tell you.
