BOXING: Jeff Horn and trainer Glenn Rushton have been studying weaknesses in Manny Pacquiao's defence and have devised a 10-point blueprint they hope will cause one of boxing's biggest upsets at Suncorp Stadium on July 2.

Rushton and Horn (pictured) spent a large part of the weekend discussing their strategy while watching Pacquiao's most recent fights.

"The guys who have beaten Manny in recent years have all been wise, experienced fighters - Floyd Mayweather, Tim Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez,” Rushton said.

"It's no good trying to rush Manny trying knock his head off. Jeff has to wait for his chance.

"We have devised a 10-point plan and if Jeff follows it we will hear the words 'and new world welterweight champion' on July 2.”

Horn is in the final week of sparring with rugged Czar Amonsot and will taper his preparation next week.
