Hook up a licence before throwing a line in

ANYONE thinking about dropping a line over summer must have paid a NSW fishing licence fee.

If you're over 18 and have fishing gear on or near the water, you need to carry the receipt. Licence fees are $7 (3 days), $14 (1 month), $35 (1 year) or $85 (3 years).

They can be paid online, by phoning 1300 369 365 (Visa or Mastercard), or bought from fishing fee agents and most Kmart stores.
