Armed men wearing masks in violent Rock Valley home invasion

POLICE are appealing for information after a violent armed home invasion by two masked men at Rock Valley on Thursday.

Police Inspector Matt Kehoe said at about 2.30am the men invaded a house in Quilty Rd, Rock Valley. Both were believed armed but detectives would not release information about any weapons involved.

After stealing property the men fled the scene after stealing property in what was described as a six cylinder vehicle with a loud exhaust.

They were Caucasian males about 183cm tall and of muscular build.

"Both men were dressed in dark clothing and wearing hoodies and bandannas covering their faces," Insp Kehoe said.
