Holiday Inn Vanuatu get $12m makeover

HOLIDAY Inn Resort Vanuatu has officially welcomed its first guests after a 15-month, $12 million renovation and refurbishment.

Tucked between 60 acres of tropical palms and nestled against the shores of a private beach, the resort oasis offers affordable luxury with Melanesian charm surrounded by the coral reefs, hot springs, rainforests and waterfalls of Vanuatu.

Located a short five minute drive from Vanuatu's capital, Port Vila, Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu is an all-inclusive destination for couples, families, weddings and conferencing groups with a range of on-site facilities and activities and over 140 guest rooms including suites and overwater villas.

Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu general manager, Thomas Tait said the new Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu has undergone a full revitalisation.

"The resort offers guests a holiday experience that combines the best of modern western technology and comfort with authentic Melanesian touches and we're proud to open the first Holiday Inn Resort in the region," Mr Tait said.

To celebrate the opening, Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu is offering guests 35%* off the base rate when they choose to holiday for five nights or more. The package includes accommodation and buffet breakfast for two adults - accompanying kids stay and eat for free.

The resort opening follows the global hotel brand's $1 billion refresh program, which saw more than 1,200 Holiday Inn hotels world-wide receiving upgrades to public areas and guest rooms.
