Highway to close for crash investigation

TRAFFIC on the Pacific Highway will be affected tonight with police closing down lanes of the highway to conduct a crash investigation.

Officers will examine the road as part of an investigation into the cause of a crash between a taxi and a van on November 30, which left a man dead.

The closures which start at 7pm will impact traffic on the highway in an area near Dry Dock Rd.

Traffic control will be in place from 6pm as signage is set up.

Police will be closing one lane of the highway at a time starting with lane one of the two southbound lanes.

It is not known how long the investigation will take.
