Help fit out a new playground

WITH the first sod turned and construction under way on the new Alstonville Pre-School the community is looking to kit out their new playground.

After a stellar five-year fundraising campaign which saw more than $670,000 raised toward the project, the preschool has now launched its Business Partnership Program.

President Katherine Buckley said businesses had the opportunity to sponsor elements of the outdoor playground in exchange for promotion onsite and through the preschool's social and print media sites.

"We are over 90% of the way there," she said.

"All that is needed now is the money to complete the outdoor playground.

"We are seeking sponsorship for some of the exciting new features of our play area such as a bike path, woodland pathway, sandpit and digging patch.

"We also need turf and decking.

"It is an opportunity for businesses to show support for a great community project as well as promote themselves through our preschool.
