Helicopter called in to help battle blaze near Rappville

A BULLDOZER and HC-230 Huey fire-fighting helicopter was deployed by the RFS yesterday afternoon to fight a 10ha bushfire 5km north-west of Rappville.

RFS Northern Rivers Inspector Daniel Ainsworth said the fire was threatening a pine plantation and 15 State Forests.
