Heartfelt House walk on track

A URALBA and East Ballina family that are walking across England to raise money for Heartfelt House have trekked 75kms in four days.

Chairman of Heartfelt House Larry Rawstorne, daughter Jo Murphy, son Scott and his partner Janelle Rae are following the Coast-to-Coast trek devised by adventurer Alfred Wainwright.

They will cover a distance of about 320km in 17 days after starting from the west coast town of St Bees in Cumbria and ending up at Robin Hood’s Bay in Yorkshire on the east coast.

Their trek has been named ‘Aussies Crossing England’ and they have set a fundraising target of $10,000 which will be used to help fund the preparation and publication of training courses so the Heartfelt House support programs for adults survivors of childhood sexual abuse can have a broader reach across Australia.

The trek can be followed on the Heartfelt House website, www.heartfelthouse.org.au , or on Facebook and the trekkers are urging locals to get online and sponsor the team.
