Heartbreaking message found in Christmas card on train
A MELBOURNE train passenger has found a heart-rending message on a torn-up Christmas card after curiousity compelled him to piece it back together.
Around a printed message "Sending warm and cosy wishes", it reads:
Bad things happen to good people sometimes, but how you react to those things is what defines you.
You always have a choice, there are better things ahead for you but it's in your hands, it's your responsibility.
Have a happy Christmas.
PS: Stop drinking, get help from someone.
According to the finder, who posted the now-whole card message on sharing site Reddit, he discovered the bits of paper on the Cranbourne/Pakenham line in Melbourne.
Of course, others were happier to make jokes about the note -- y'know because this is the internet.
