Acts descend for One Night Stand

YOU got lucky and your next One Night Stand will be in your home state.

That's right, Triple J's annual regional concert is coming back to Queensland.

It was announced on Wednesday that this year's gig will be held in Dalby, about six hours drive from Rockhampton.

The event will bring thousands of people to the small town, along with Aussie rapper 360 and also The Temper Trap, Stonefield and Matt Corby.

For the last eight years the event has travelled the countryside to bring music and people to small, regional towns.

Triple J manager Chris Scaddan said it was a pleasure to bring the One Night Stand concert to parts of Australia that were hungry for live music.

"Southern Queensland has had a tough time over the past couple of years, so they deserve an event like this more than ever.

"We're looking forward to getting to know the people of Dalby a bit better and bringing their stories and this concert to the rest of the country," he said.

The concert will be held on June 2 at the Dalby Showgrounds and will also be broadcast live on radio and can be streamed live on the internet.
