A GLOBAL chocolate shortage could see prices double by 2020, thanks to instability in West Africa, which drives world cocoa production.

So far the looming "choc shock" is failing to deter Australians, like East Lismore's Alexis Galea, 3, from enjoying plenty of Easter eggs.
