Half million dollar dope crop at Brunswick Heads

POLICE have uncovered a large cannabis crop growing in bushland near Brunswick Heads.

More than 250 plants were found growing inside aluminium sheds deep in the Tyagarah Nature Reserve.

Officers seized the cannabis crop along with much of the equipment used in its cultivation.

A Polair helicopter will be brought in today to remove a number of large diesel generators.
