Grass fire burns out 10ha at Casino
A GRASS fire behind Casino Golf Club burned out 10ha of scrub on Wednesday.
NSW Fire and Rescue Casino brigade along with Rural Fire Service brigades were called to bushland off the Summerland Way at 1pm.
No buildings were damaged in the fire, which was extinguished by 4.32pm.
The Rural Fire Service's fire danger rating for the Northern Rivers today is low-moderate, the second-lowest rating available.
