Football FNC grand finals festival kicks off tonight

GRAND finals in all eight of Football FNC senior men's divisions will be played in the next three days, starting at Oakes Oval tonight with fifth and sixth division deciders.

In fifth division, minor premiers Eureka will be chasing the premiership double when they meet Uki at 8pm.

While Eureka will start favourite, Uki is known for its solid defence and a tight contest is predicted. Eureka also figures in the sixth division grand final at 6pm, but will face a very strong Bangalow outfit.

Bangalow scored 95 goals on its way to winning the minor premiership and will start as hot favourites.

Tomorrow night Nimbin Headers take on Lismore Thistles in the fourth division grand final, before Suffolk Park and Goonellabah battle out the third division decider.

The other four grand finals will be played at Oakes Oval on Saturday, with the premier league between Thistles and Byron Bay at 6.30pm.
