The field heads for home in the Maiden Handicap (1400m), the first race at the Tweed River Jockey Club TAB meeting at Murwillumbah yesterday.

A LARGE crowd watched as Grafton horse Tellemtogo stormed home on a dead track to take out the Tweed Tourism Cup at the Murwillumbah races yesterday.

In the feature event of the seven-race TAB meeting Tellemtogo, ridden by Joshua Jones, turned on the gas from 100 metres out and easily overtook pace-setter Diamondsaucash.

Rose General followed the John Shelton trained Tellemtogo into second and Diamondsaucash was lucky to hold on to third ahead of the charging Deebee Cooper in a photo-finish.

Punters must have seen something special in Deebee Cooper, as it firmed to joint favourite with Irish Guard at $3.90 in the minutes before the race.
