LISMORE City Council has been granted $450,000 from the Federal Government’s Regional and Local Community Infrastructure Program.

Byron Shire Council was granted $263,000 and Ballina Shire Council was granted $305,000.

“Across the community, the government has delivered record funding for a range of great community projects in our area including the Tweed Heads Visitor Centre, extension of the Burringbar-Mooball Cycleway, installation of CCTV in Murwillumbah, Byron Sports and Cultural Facility and upgrades to Ambrose Brown Park and Kingscliff Foreshore,” Richmond MP Justine Elliott said.
