Go Crazy With Socks!

The month of October, became Socktober for the students at St. Brigid’s Primary School, Kyogle this week, when the Student Representative Council (SRC) hosted what has become an annual crazy sock day to raise money for a charity in need!
This year the students didn’t disappoint, nor did the teachers, wearing some fantastic socks that jangled, glowed and certainly turned some heads!
This year’s charity that we raised money for was the Catholic Missions.
SRC Member, Jessica Farragher, “Socktober is a fun way for us to raise money for the Catholic Missions. We asked the students to come to school in their craziest socks and donate a gold coin! At lunch time we had a disco and games and a sock parade to finish off the day! Everyone had a great time and really enjoyed themselves. We raised a lot of money that will help people less fortunate then us”.
