Farmers arrested as anti-CSG protestors recommence action

PROTESTORS have locked-on to a ute this morning at the entrance to Metgasco's CSG drilling site at Glenugie near Grafton - the scene of a huge police operation last week to break a 48-day blockade by protestors.

According to reports, two local farmers chained themselves to their ute at the entrance to the site shortly after 6am and were joined by another protestor about 8.30am.

Initial reports indicate police have since arrested the three men as well as another three protestors.

Glenugie protestors have put out a call on their Facebook page for support at the site.
