Garage sale fundraiser for Lynette Daley’s family
FAMILY are sill grieving over the brutal alleged murder of Lynette Daley on Ten Mile Beach in 2011, so the Sisters United Lismore are holding a garage sale to help out the mother-of-seven’s children.
Ms Daley’s body was found on the beach on January 27, 2011, after allegedly engaging in sex acts with her boyfriend Adrian Attwater, and Paul Maris.
Recent coverage of the horrific case on ABC’s Four Corners has led the NSW Director of Public Prosecutions to order an independent review of the case by two barristers, as Attwater and Maris were never prosecuted for their alleged involvement in Ms Daley’s death.
Lismore Mayor Jenny Dowell posted about the garage sale on Facebook.
“Lynette Daley,” she posted.
“I am someone’s Daughter.
“I am someone’s Mother.
“I am someone’s Sister.
“I am someone’s Niece.
“I am someone’s Grand-daughter.
“I AM A WOMAN - AND I MATTER.”
Cr Dowell said the garage sale had been arranged with the permission of Ms Daley’s family.
“With the blessing of Lynette’s Family, Sisters United Lismore are planning to hold a fundraising garage sale with all proceeds to go to the family,” she posted.
“Sisters United Lismore are seeking donation of items.
“If you would like to donate or volunteer to our worthy cause, call Aunty Wendy on 0481 199 011.”
