Games of chance and tests of skill

IT WAS a day of fun for the 65 students at Rous Public School with games of chance and tests of skill available for an egg.

Principal Drew Green said that the annual Easter fete day, organised by Year 5/6 was a great success.

Those students organised the day and the stalls and they staffed the stalls," he said. "We had wet sponges being thrown at people's faces and darts at balloons. There was also an Easter egg decorating contest."

Paris Camaroni had spent a lot of time making his Easter diorama of chickens and eggs and was very proud of his efforts.

"I made a chicken house of coloured cardboard and put shredded paper inside with the chickens and the Easter eggs."
