Funeral for Noelene and daughter Yvana
NOELENE and Yvana Bischoff will today be laid to rest next to Noelene's father and Yvana's grandfather Don Bischoff.
The funeral service for Noelene and Yvana will be held in Gatton Baptist Church before their caskets are carried to Gatton Cemetery.
Noelene, 54, and Yvana, 14, died in Bali two weeks ago after they arrived there for a holiday less than 24 hours earlier.
The Queensland Coroner has completed the autopsies, but it may be "some time" before the results are known.
Noelene's sister Desley Bowe and brother-in-law Kevin Bowe travelled to Gatton with Noelene's mother Jean Bischoff to organise the final elements of the funeral.
Brother Malcolm Bischoff, a Sunshine Coast resident, said the family had planned to hold a private funeral but support from the Gatton community had resulted in a public service.
A memorial service in Caloundra last week had about 600 mourners.
Noelene trained as a nurse at Ipswich Hospital and later spent 10 years there.
Noelene was born near Forest Hill, the second daughter of Don and Jean Bischoff. The family later moved to Gatton.
Noelene qualified as a midwife at Ipswich Hospital, then worked at several other hospitals before returning to Ipswich.
She worked in the hospital's emergency department before becoming a nurse manager. Noelene worked at Ipswich Hospital for about 10 years. Yvana was born on December 27, 1999, in Ipswich Hospital and when she was four she and her mother moved to the Sunshine Coast.
