Funds for training

PAGE MP Janelle Saffin has announced six new Trade Training Centre projects at Alstonville High School, Evans River Community School, Grafton High School, South Grafton High School, Induna School and Trinity Catholic College.

Across Page $5,854,300 will be invested in six centres.

"Trade Training Centres will address skill shortages in traditional trades and emerging industries by equipping schools with state- of-the-art facilities including fabulous commercial kitchens," Ms Saffin said.

Democracy advocate FairGO has rated Ms Saffin second among federal politicians for responding to the concerns and questions of voters during the recent term of office. She was also ranked highly in 2007 and when she was in the NSW Parliament.

All 226 Federal MPs are ranked by FairGO on how well they respond to Votergrams sent by voters.

Every MP has an equal chance to respond to each Votergram.

FairGo founder Greg Bloomfield said: "Ms Saffin sets a very high standard of service to the voting community. Not only is she an exceptionally high-performing politician, she has been so for many years. Consistently good performance is what all voters want."
