Funding boost for the disabled

PEOPLE with disabilities are set to benefit from $1.2 million of Federal funding for two community-based accommodation projects in the Northern Rivers.

The North Coast Community Housing Company will receive $635,500 to help build accommodation and support services for people in Ballina, and The Summerland House With No Steps will receive $600,000 for accommodation and support services in Alstonville-Wollongbar.
