Friendship reassessment thanks to COVID-19

It's interesting how some friendships have completely lost their significance and others have strengthened thanks to COVID-19 restrictions.

It took a global viral outbreak to see who truly cared and which friendships were sketchy and rather flaky.

We interact with many people who we call friends in person and online. Close friends meet for regular get-togethers and social outings. When there were no more plans to be made, it seemed a lot of people lost their significance.

Like a wardrobe clean out, the cleanse was not hectic or monumental, it was cathartic and inconsequential.

The realisation that some friendships are not as wholesome as others is part of life, and it allowed for the fostering and strengthening of ties with those who matter the most.
