The Friends storyline Matthew Perry killed outright

BANG Showbiz

MATTHEW Perry killed a storyline about his Friends character loving strip clubs

That is so not something Chandler Bing would do.

"There was a storyline on Friends where Chandler went to a male strip joint because he really liked the sandwiches," Matthew Perry revealed on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday. "I called up and I said, 'Let's not do this one.'"

The writers ended up cutting the plot line from the show. However, Chandler did end up at a female strip club with Rachel, Phoebe and Monica in Season 4 after he and Kathy break up.

It's also worth noting that the storyline could have been salvaged for Joey if the strip joint had been serving up meatball subs.

Andy Cohen, the host of Watch What Happens Live also questioned Perry on the rumoured "no sex" clause in all of the Friends cast contracts.

When David Schwimmer, the actor who played Ross, was asked about it last year he bluntly said "well that was broken".

Despite Cohen pushing Perry to admit who had broken the clause, the actor didn't budge.

"I don't know who he was referring to. I think there was no sex with anyone or I was really missing something," he said.
