Friends pay tribute to man killed on Gold Coast

POLICE believe Mark Emanuel Spencer, who was found dead at his Gold Coast home on Wednesday, may have been the victim of a targeted attack.

Mr Spencer was found with significant head injuries on the back porch of his Foxwell Road home in Coomera about 4am.

He died at the scene.

Friends have taken to social media to pay tribute to Mr Spencer, affectionately known as Zeb to those close to him.

"I lost a best friend today...he was a great father to his kids and [had] been a mate to my kids and my whole family," friend Ann King wrote on Facebook.
