Forum attracts top pork producers

PORK producers are arriving in Lismore ahead of the Producer Forum organised by the NSW Farmers’ Pork Committee on Thursday.

Pork Committee Vice Chair Ean Pollard will host the gathering at the Lismore Workers Club, which the NSW Farmers Association said would be attended by representatives from Australian Pork Limited and the CHM Alliance, an alliance including some of Australia’s largest producers.

Australian Pork Limited was expected to present its draft environmental guidelines for outdoor piggeries at the forum and give an update on newly implemented standards for free range producers.
