Footy Show gig at Lennox

THE NRL Footy Show is coming to Lennox Head – well, kind of.

Paul ‘Fatty' Vautin promised on air on Thursday night that the show next week would be broadcast live from the devastated community.

While Channel Nine's efforts to find a suitable venue to construct the set fell flat, the boys will still be there in some form.

The Footy Show will set up an outside broadcast site – probably at the Lennox Point Hotel – and do regular live crosses.

While the full cast will not be in Lennox, there will still be plenty of fun.

Peter Sterling, Andrew Johns, Mario Fenech and Andrew Voss have all been tossed around as possible visitors, while members of the NSW State of Origin team that will be in camp at the time are also likely to be on hand.

More details will be released early next week.
