Fire fighters from Casino, Grafton, Coffs Harbour, Walcha, Wauchope, Maitland and Sydney were flown by charter aircraft to Orange today.
The cause of the fire, which started on Sunday, is still being investigated.
The Forests NSW deployment brings to 85 the number of people already fighting the blaze, which has burnt about 78 ha of young and mature pine plantation.
They will provide 24-hour shifts to combat the fire, with severe weather expected over the next two days.
Helicopters and water bombing aircraft are being used on the fire.
