Fire alarm sees Ballina Fair evacuated

PARTS of the Ballina Fair shopping centre were evacuated tonight after a fire alarm went off in the centre about 5.30pm.

Firefighters attended and shut down the alarm about 5.30pm. A fire service spokesman said it was not known what triggered the alarm.

Shoppers were allowed to return to the shopping centre within a few minutes of firefighters arriving on the scene.
