Film production under way at Clothiers Creek

A CINEMATOGRAPHY production for Griffith University is being filmed on a property in the hills of Clothiers Creek.

The film, called Pay any Price, has leading man Kyle Freemantle playing Ben Simmons - a soldier fleeing prison in the USA and enlisting in the military for the Vietnam War.

Crew have shot a helicopter crash scene (all props are made by the crew) a torture scene; an escape scene and many running through the jungle scenes and Kyle Freemantle is loving every minute.

"It's good fun, it's awesome. It's just like being a little kid again and you get to play games and play dress up but it's more serious," Mr Freemantle said.

The crew have all camped on site and slept in tents filming scenes night and day.

"I've only just meet all of these people but everyone is so friendly and helpful, good crew."

The University film assignment will be shown on 25 October and available for everyone to see on YouTube thereafter.
