Film appeal goes online

THE online pledges for the Back Alley Gallery short film, Piece by Peace, have reached $620 with 79 days to go to reach the total of $3000 needed to complete the project.

The creators of a documentary about Lismore's Back Alley Gallery are using an innovative new online crowd sourcing site, Pozible, to finance the project.

City Centre manager Katie O'Rourke said community and business support had been very strong with 20% of the funds pledged in just two weeks.

"The artists are looking forward to finishing the project and sharing it with the public," she said.
